Michael Jackson Under the Weather

Despite rumors that Michael Jackson may have caught pneumonia, his spokeswoman wants to set the record straight.

According to her, Jackson “is a little bit under the weather.” She also denies the claims that Jackson was hospitalized.

Right now, the King of Pop resides in Las Vegas where it is rumored that he’s making negotiations for a comeback deal. It appears the illness manifested after he and a few members of his entourage fell sick after a recent trip abroad.

Britney Spears’ and K-Feds Settlement

It appears that Britney Spears has finally reached an agreement for a settlement in her divorce from Kevin Federline, reports said Thursday.

For those who may be wondering however, the terms of the divorce settlement have not been disclosed. Chances are, they never will be.

The only remark made about Spears’ and Federline’s settlement was from a spokesman for Federline’s attorney, who simply stated that a “global settlement [was signed] on all issues of their marriage and the custody of [their] children.”

O.J. Simpson Book Rights Auctioned

Everyone remembers the hubbub surrounding O.J. Simpson’s controversial book, entitled “If I Did It.” Well, now the rights to the tome are set to be auctioned to the highest bidder, garnering even more publicity for Simpson and putting his book one step closer to being published.

The book deals with what Simpson would have done had he actually murdered his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Gordon. The proceeds from the auction will go towards a 33.5 million dollar civil judgment Simpson sustained for the deaths of his ex-wife and her companion.

Chris Sligh Voted off American Idol

Okay, if this keeps up much longer I just might decide to boycott American Idol.

Last night, Chris Sligh was the contestant voted off American Idol. That leaves the remaining contestants at 9, with the winner decided in May.

I’m sure many people were surprised that Chris went, considering the other two that rounded out the bottom three: Haley Scarnato and Phil Stacey. I don’t know about you, but I tend to agree with Simon Cowell’s opinions about Haley: “Safe and forgettable.”

Steve Irwin Will Live On in Daughter’s TV Show

According to the Discovery Kids Channel, Bindi Irwin, the 8-year old daughter of Steve Irwin will launch her television show in June. Her father will be appearing in some episodes.

Steve Irwin and Bindi began filming the cable television show in early 2006. The show, entitled “Bindi: The Jungle Girl” was designed to garner more children’s interest in wildlife conservation.

While intended to be a father-daughter show, the sudden death of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin last September (due to a serrated stingray barb that pierced his heart) changed the plans.
