A Mistrial Declared in the Phil Spector Case

I really don’t know what to make of these California juries. First there’s OJ getting away with murder, DNA be damned, and then the Phil Spector trial is declared a mistrial. Really how difficult can it be? Here’s the case of someone who admitted this lady died in his house and that he was the only other person present. How is it possible the jury was deadlocked 10 – 2? Are people in Los Angeles really that dumb?
The L.A. District Attorney’s office plans to re-try the case. Both sides are due back in court October 3rd.
