Daniel Day Lewis dedicated his SAG Award to Heath Ledger in a very moving tribute. Yeah. I cried.
Last night’s SAG awards brought everything we’d expect from a red carpet event. The trend appeared to be bold and vibrant colors and most didn’t disappoint. Here are some of the hits and misses from the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards. We’ll bring fashion reports from the 2008 SAGs throughout the day.
I looks like Sandra Oh shopped for the most shapeless, unflattering gown she could find.
Kira Sedgwick glows in this vibrant blue number and her hair is spot on. One of my favorite looks of the evening.
I’m digging the color of Nikki Blonski’s age appropriate dress, but the style is too junior prom for my liking.
Eva Longoria sizzled in this back baring dress. The gown is nice, but Eva has the tone for lots of color and I don’t feel white does much for her. I love her hair.
Award shows bring out all types. While most stars dress to impress, some fail miserably. Are they fashion-challenged or trying to get more camera time. You be the judge.

There may be a writer’s strike but there will still be an Academy Awards ceremony. We’re not sure if it’ll be a full-fledged red carpet affair or a scaled down version similar to the Golden Globes. In any event, Oscar nominations are happening this morning and we’ll bring them to you as soon as they’re announced!
