Page Six is claiming that Jon Bon does have political aspirations which is why he performs at so many high profile Democratic fund raisers and why, even though his ramily resides in New York City, he still kept the house in Joisy.

Bon Jovi even hired former New York City Mayor David Dinkin’s P.R. guy, Ken Sunshine., who is denying the claim. “Jon has been approached many times about running for office,” said Sunshine, who denied the rocker has any political plans. “His day job is going too well, and this way he can keep the house.”

Jon Bon Jovi feels the Mijovi energy drink’s name hits too close to home and he’d like it changed. The owner, Marcos Carrington, claims he named the drink after his girlfriend, Jovita, and not the shaggy-haired rocker.

In addition to onjecting to “Mijovi” Bon Jovi’s attorney took issue with the words “itsmijovi” and “itsmilife.”

“As you should be aware, one of Bon Jovi’s most popular songs is entitled `It’s My Life,’” wrote Bon Jovi’s lawyer Peter Laird. “We hereby demand that you immediately cease and desist all further use of the name `Mijovi’ and `It’s My Life.’”

“It is just unfair,” Carrington, told the Asbury Park Press. “It is unfair because Mijovi has nothing to do with Bon Jovi.”
