Yes, it’s true. Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon did indeed get married, and even more surprising, they’re still married. And in case you’re living under a rock, the news is everywhere. What are people saying? Check out the roundup:

• According to People.com, Nick Cannon told his friend he’s in love with Mariah. Isn’t that the sweetest? Even more important, the engagement ring wasn’t recycled at all. That’s a relief.
• And guess what else? Nick and Mariah have a real, honest to goodness marriage license which they obtained in the Bahamas. Hopefully nick helped Mariah with the big words like "name" and "date".
• TMZ is putting an end to the rumors that Mariah married someone other than Nick Cannon.
• According to Perez Hilton, Mimi just canceled Monday’s appearance on The View presumably because she’s enjoying her honeymoon but she probably doesn’t want to answer all those questions either. I’d be over there showing off my ring and gushing with the girls, but that’s just me.
• At PopCrunch it’s once again being mentioned there’s no prenup and you know Nick isn’t one of those $25 million per movie earners. They better get thee to a lawyer’s office as soon as the honey moon is over. Which will probably be tomorrow.

• At E! Online they don’t know anything about a wedding, but they’d sure like to talk about that ring.
• Even MSNBC is running with the story. No one has any real details. Just that it was "impulsive."

Could it be? Are Beyonce and Jay-Z finally tying the knot? People seems to think so. They’re reporting the pair filed for a marriage license today in Scarsdale, NY. Since the license is valid for 60 days, it’s safe to say the pair will be getting married sometime within the next two months.

Reps for both parties aren’t commenting.

Hate to say we told you so, but we told you so. George Clooney isn’t engaged. His rep denied the rumors which have been appearing all over the web today. “No truth to any element of the story,” the rep said of the engagement rumors.

We didn’t think so.
