Looks like today is a day for good news. Charlotte Church and boyfriend Gavin Henson welcomed a 6 pound 12 ounce baby girl. The couple was quite surprised considering they thought they were expecting a boy!

Charlotte Church will marry Gavin Henson in a lavish New Year’s Eve ceremony, the Herald Sun is reporting.

  The couple - who are expecting their first baby together this month - will tie the knot in front of close family and friends at a secret location, thought to be Castell Coch near Cardiff. A source told Britain’s Star magazine: “Charlotte can’t wait. She’s so excited that she and Gavin have finally thrashed out a date for their big day. Charlotte has always said she won’t go on a diet after having her baby, but the three months in between the birth and the wedding will give her time to lose a little bit of weight so she can look even more fabulous.”

Popular Welsh Singer Charlotte Church is pregnant. It’s true. In a public statement released on their website. Charlotte says “In an ideal world, we would not have made this announcement so early in the pregnancy,” the Web site said.

“However, due to recent speculation and persistent questions from the media about this most private of matters, Charlotte felt she had no choice other than to go public and she was keen to ensure that her fans had the opportunity to read the truth here first.”

Rumors about the pregnancy came out only after she avoided alcohol at her 21st birthday party. Imagine it a celebrity avoiding the bottle.
