Eddie Murphy and Tracy Edmonds were married on a private French Polynesian island on Friday. The romantic ceremony, which took place at sunset, was witnessed by about 25 guests.
No moss grows under Eddie Murphy’s feet. It seems like only yesterday he was dating Spice girl Melanie Brown. And it seems like only yesterday he was claiming he wasn’t the baby’s Daddy. And it seems like only yesterday DNA proved him to be a liar and a slime. Yet still, someone wants to marry this man. Murphy presented short-term girlfriend to Tracy Edmonds with a large, yellow diamond engagement ring the other day.
If Edmonds is interested in Muphy’s money, she better think again, he paid out a nice chunk of change in his first divorce settlement and will surely be paying out some serious child support.

Melanie Brown wasn’t down with some of Eddie Murphy’s lifestyle issues and felt something would have to change if they stayed together and raised their child.
“There were certain things that went on in his house with his lifestyle that I wasn’t prepared to be a part of,” Brown says on essence.com. “I have a baby with this guy, so I have to be somewhat respectful. I’ll simply say that there were lifestyle changes that he would have to make if we were going to live together. I don’t have people knocking on my door at 3 and 4 in the morning.”
With all that child support to pay, Eddie Murphy is going to need some cash. Unfortunately, he’s having a bit of trouble unloading a couple of his mansions.
Eddie’s 25,000 square foot, Englewood, NJ home was original marketed at $30 mil. No one’s buying though and it’s now listed at $19 mil and change. If that isn’t enough, Eddie’s Upstate New York property, originally listed at $12,750,000 is now reduced to $8,995,000.
