Unlike other talk show hosts, Ellen DeGeneres isn’t supporting the writer’s strike. In fact, she crossed the picket line so her show could go on.
The saga of the dog continues. The Smoking Gun published emails between Portia DeRossi and the shelter where they adopted the dog. So here’s how I see it. The dog was fine at first, after Ellen and Portia got rid of him, they blew of the shelter. When the shelter contacted the couple for an update, Portia sent one of those “Whoa. What a coincidence, I was just about to email you…” deals and told her they gave the dog away. When the shelter owner reminded her of the contract and said it was a betrayal of trust, Portia said her email was heartbreaking. So that’s it in a nutshell. Oh and the hairdresser who got the dog wrote the shelter too and said she would go through the proper channels to adopt the dog.
