The Daily Telegraph is reporting Matilda may not be Heath Ledger’s first child. Family members are claiming he fathered a child out of wedlock when he was in his teens. This means, of course, a fight for inheritance complete with paternity tests.

According to the report, when Heath was 17 he was fooling around with an older woman who was living with another man. Towards the end of that affair, the woman found out she was pregnant - and there’s 50/50 chance Heath is the father.

Heath Ledger was remiss in updating his will.It was written three years ago and leaves everything to his parents, and nothing to his young daughter, Matilda. According to other documents, Heath only had $145,000 worth of assets in New York City - not including any real estate holdings.

Let’s hope that once all the financial affairs are sorted out Heath’s family puts Heath’s estate in trust for his daughter.

Heath Ledger’s father was distraught to learn his son’s prized Volkswagen Van was stolen shortly after his death. Heath gave the van to a friend in Australia for safekeeping after he moved to the U.S.

Heath’s father is desperate to get the van back and the police have been alerted.
