As you could imagine, Patrick Swayze’s mom is devastated by the news of her son’s cancer diagnosis. Still she’s telling the National Enquirer Patrick is remaining strong for his family and friends. “Patrick as usual, is worried more about other people than himself.”
Patrick Swayze is apparently not letting a little thing like cancer keep him from smoking. These are the first pictures of Patrick taken since his diagnosis - this one shows him after a chemo treatment, leaving Stamford Cancer Center just before boarding a plane at the San Carlos airport.
Patrick Swayze is reportedly “doing well” after his third round of chemotherapy. Patrick’s representative Annett Wolf said: “Patrick is currently undergoing chemotherapy - not radiation - and he has not lost his hair. We are doing everything we can, and Patrick is doing well under the circumstances.”
Patrick is recovering from his chemo at his ranch in New Mexico. And frankly, if I was suffering and needed chemo and rest, a ranch out west sounds like a great remedy to me.
Whoopi Goldberg offered Patrick Swayze good wishes on The View this morning and credited him for her Oscar win.
‘When I won my Academy Award, the only person I really thanked was Patrick.” Whoopi also went on to say she owes the whole role to Patrick as he insisted she get the part. She’ll be in touch with Patrick soon. ‘We want you to feel better — we’ll talk soon, I hope.”
The reports are true. Patrick Swayze is suffering from pancreatic cancer. Though reports of his impending demise may be greatly exaggerated.
