Britain’s Daily Mail reports Mills, 39, flew to L.A. this week for meetings on the biopic, which had been shelved while she was negotiating her divorce settlement with the former Beatle. When talks collapsed last week, “the script was dusted off pretty rapidly,” a source was quoted. “Heather sees this film as the tragic and empowering story of a young model who loses her leg, overcomes her difficulties and marries her prince. But the most interesting part of the tale will be the dark goings-on behind closed doors.”
