After bullying Elisabeth Hasselbeck on “The View”, we were told Rosie O’Donnell chose not to return to “The View” because they used a split screen to document the discussion between the battling panelists. Indeed, Rosie even wrote on her own blog about the split screen
“a split screen/ new heights or lows/ depending on who u ask.”
Now, she’s claiming she didn’t quit, she was fired.
Rush & Molloy report that when she took the stage at Roseanne Barr’s set at Comix the other night, Rosie began her bit by saying, “When I was fired by Barbara Walters,” which isn’t what they politely told the world back in June. Then, they claimed it was a mutual decision.
So what is it, Rosie? A hissy fit over a split screen or a firing? Personally I wouldn’t believe anything this loud-mouthed attention whore says anymore, anyway.
