Not that this one isn’t well deserved but doesn’t it seem like they’re giving these out all the time now? Will Smith was honored today with a star on Hollywood Boulevard.

“I’m humble, I’m honored, my heart is just beating right now,” said Smith. “I don’t really understand it — I’m not used to feeling like that … There’s something in the concrete about being etched into the fibre of Hollywood.”

Pun intended?

Will Smith insists his BFF Tom Cruise, the “greatest spirit” he’s ever known is committed to making the world an better place and has no intention of leading Will down the path to Scientology.

In the same interview, Will talks about how his woman having an affair led to him being the best actor he could possibly be. I know. Slow news day. I wonder if “greatest spirit” is a code word for “couch jumping nutjob?”

While pitching “I Am Legend” at a Tokyo news conference, Will Smith inadvertently gave away the ending. It wasn’t intentional, he was offering a synopsis of the plot and got carried away. A co-producer shouted out, “Don’t give away the ending”, but it was too late.

The press did agree not to put the ending in their articles so as not to spoil it for viewers.
