David Beckham made his L.A. Galaxy debut this weekend, amid much speculation that he wouldn’t play due to an ankle injury.
In attendance were Eva Longoria, Katie Holmes, Drew Carey, Jennifer Love Hewitt and even the Govenator.

In other Beckham news, the Cruises and the Smiths did indeed throw a party to welcome Posh and Becks to the neighborhood. Beckham looked good as usual while Posh wore a very silly dress.
Guests included Jim Carey and Jenny McCartney, Vivica A. Fox, Ron Howard, Wesley Snipes, Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields and many others.
