Jeff Healy the singer and guitarist behind such great songs as “Angel Eyes” and “Confident Man”, and who also played the leader of the house band in the movie “Roadhouse” has died of cancer. He was 41 years old.
Jeff had a rare form of cancer, retino blastoma, the same cancer that took his eyesight when he was a year old. He’s had several operations to remove the cancer from his legs and lungs. Sadly it was to no avail.
This is very sad news, Jeff Healy was a talented musician who died way too young. Our condolences to his loved ones and all who loved his music.
