Britney Spears was involuntarily committed again last night. While there are rumors of suicide attempts and other behavior, here’s what I could determine:
- Britney’s shrink was alarmed by her increasingly erratic behavior and requested another 51050 hold. Even though others are reporting Britney tried to commit suicide, this is not the case at all.
- TMZ is reporting that Lynne Spears is pissed the shrink had Britney committed, while Sam Lufti was in favor.
- There is extreme tension between Lufti and Britney’s parents.
- The police have a code name for Britney, "The package."
- Britney was taken by ambulance to the UCLA Medical Center.
- Apparantly the plan has been in the works for days. It was supposed to have gone down a few days ago but was aborted. Finally Britney’s shrink told her last night., "We’re going to the hospital." Britney asked, "Why is something wrong?" Made herself some hot chocolate and went peacefully into the night.
- Lynne Spears drove to the hospital with Adnan Ghalib of all people. Lynne blames Sam for having Britney committed and Britney told her mother to shut the f*** up.
- There’s a "bitter fight" for Britney Spears going down at the hospital. Lynne and Jamie Spears are being told they can’t call the shots and they don’t like it one bit. Lufti appears to be the one in control at the moment.
- The last time Britney was committed, she signed paperwork saying she didn’t want her parents having any say in her care.
- Tension is thick at the hospital with shouting matches ensuing.
