Daniel Smith Wanted to "Break Free" from Anna Nicole Smith Circus

Daniel Smith loved his mother Anna Nicole Smith but didn’t want any part of the fame or publicity that followed her.

At the inquest into his death yesterday, Ford Shelley, testified that "He loved his mother but didn’t want to be known as her son. He wanted to break free." Shelley also testified that Daniel didn’t do good with drugs as he couldn’t even hold his liquor.

The Bahamian inquest into Daniel’s death will continue today. In attendance are his grandmother, Virgie Arthur, and smarmy lawyer Howard K. Stern.
