Supportive husband David Beckham showed up backstage at the first Spice Girls gig and gifted each of the ladies with a diamond-encrusted bracelet. Plus Becks is looking forward to joining his wife, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham and the rest of the Spice Girls on tour.
Posh told us: “He knows I’m really nervous about him seeing me back on stage, so he bought us all these bracelets for good luck. It’s like the old days. David spent a lot of time around the girls when we first got together - it’s as though he married all of us. He’s the original Spice Boy.”
Posh was delighted that David flew in for the first night of the tour, at the GM Place Stadium in Vancouver. She said: “It was really sweet - I haven’t seen him in weeks as he’s been away with LA Galaxy and he flew in specially. He’s adorable.”
And when we bumped into him backstage, he really was adorable - and tender. He told us: “I’ve got a broken rib at the moment but I’ve had them before and nothing would have stopped me coming.
“There’s no way I wouldn’t have been here. I haven’t even seen a rehearsal before tonight and it’s so exciting.
