Charlie Sheen is going to court seeking a looser custody arrangement and Richards is hoping this won’t happen. Charlie’s friends are making claims about Richards, all of which she denies. Per Page Six:
“She’s doing everything she can to keep his visits supervised by her nanny, because her nanny spies for her,” one Sheen pal said.
Part of the problem, the friend says, is that Richards “wants another child - she even asked Charlie to be the father. Denise is very jealous of [Sheen’s new fiance] Brooke [Mueller] and craves the spotlight.”
As for tabloid stories that Richards sent flowers to the engaged couple and shopped with Mueller, one Sheen friend says, “Denise set it up. Brooke never got the flowers, but she did get a call from Denise saying, ‘It’s an emergency, come meet me now.’ When Brooke met her, there were four paparazzi waiting to take their picture. After the pictures were done, Denise told Brooke, ‘It’s been taken care of.’ ”
In addition, Sheen’s pals claim that Richards has been withholding the couple’s children from him.
A rep for Sheen said, “I don’t comment on his personal life.”
But Richards contradicted the friends’ claims. “This is disgusting,” she told us. “He is doing this now because he’s not happy with me and the custody arrangement.”
She rebutted Sheen’s pals’ charges one by one: “My mom is going through chemotherapy and I asked Charlie if my mom could see the kids before she got really sick. That’s a valid request. He doesn’t stick to the schedule he has with the kids - that’s not my fault.
“I did ask both Charlie and Brooke to lunch to see the kids - he hadn’t seen them in two weeks - but only Brooke took me up on it. The paparazzi were already following me, as they do every day, and took a picture - and I have the bill for the flowers I sent from Mark’s Garden. Brooke even showed my nanny the flowers.”
Richards added, “I don’t want another child right now. I have my hands full and am focusing on my children, my mother and my career. I thought I was past all this stuff.”
Well honestly it does sound like a whole lot of “he says, she says” but when you think about it, everything Denise does is so public, isn’t it? Makes you wonder if she brings it on herself.
