The money was lent to her four years ago to help get daughter Lindsay’s musical career started.

Almeida’s lawyer, A. Raymond Hamrick, says some of the dough was used to record songs with Gloria Estefan’s husband, Emilio Estefan, who formed Miami Sound Machine.
