Dog the Bounty Hunter: Canceled

November 3rd, 2007

A&E isn’t taking any chances. Rather than lose advertisers, they’re pulling the plug on Dog the Bounty Hunter.

“In evaluating the circumstances of the last few days, A&E has decided to take Dog The Bounty Hunter’ off the network’s schedule for the foreseeable future. We hope that Mr. Chapman continues the healing process that he has begun.”

I think they made the right choice. Dog’s tirade wasn’t just a mistake, he let his true feelings be known. There’s no room for racism on television.

Just because someone uses words (in anger or not) does not make them a racist. What ever happened to ’sticks and stones…”

The Dog supporters crack me up. They’re so blinded by this idito they’ll believe anything. First of all, just because someone uses racist words in anger absolutely makes him a racist. If he’s not a racist he wouldn’t use the N word. It would never occurt to me to ever use the N word about a black person or anyone for that matter. Don’t try to gloss it over. Dog is racist and he’s backpeddling because his meal tick dropped him. And yes, his show was canceled. What does “Indefinitely” mean to you? All the advertisers are pissed and A&E would be foolish to support Dog at this point. Sorry folks.

Hey by the way, did anyone see the documentary on the real bounty hunters? They all say Dog gives them a bad name because he doesn’t follow the rules or etqiuette and he’s more about posturing and show businesses than catching bad guys.
