Donny Osmond Apologizes to Larry King

 

Donny Osmond apologized to Larry King today after getting upset with King after he disclosed to the world Marie Osmond’s son was in rehab.

I’m not going to pull any punches here,” he told Meredith Vieira. “I was very upset about it. I thought it was very unfair for Larry King to throw that question at Marie the way that he did.”

Hours after the show aired, Marie called Donny to tell him the tabloids had gotten ahold of the news and King tried to soften the blow by asking Marie about it rather than have it appear as headlines over supermarket checkout lines.

 “I have to apologize to Larry King because I said some things against him,” he said. “In hindsight, I’m grateful that he gave Marie that platform.”

Rock on, Donny. You’re a bigger man than a lot of others.
