You know how I’m always saying Britney Spears needs to be involuntarily committed? Turns out it’s not so easy. Trust Celebrity Rehab doctor, Dr. Drew Pinksy to set me straight on that one.
Legally, Britney can’t just be tossed into the looney bin. There are laws in place to protect the mentally ill, even if it’s fairly obvious they’ve crossed the line into la-la ville.
"She needs to be arrested and have the judicial system order her into a mandated treatment program," Dr. Drew tells PageSix.com. "If her family or her friends know she is engaging in illegal activities, they need to call the police and have her arrested. This is probably the only way she will ever get the help that she obviously so needs."
"As we saw with Britney’s brief hospital stay, she was let out early because she was determined to not be a harm to herself or others." the good doctor went on to say, "she would have to have a severe medical condition such as dementia in order for her family to have any power over her medical treatment."
Don’t expect it from her current parasite BFFs, Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lufti. A looney Britney Spears is much easier to manipulate. Since her family isn’t around to take Dr. Drew up on his challenge, whose going to rise to the occasion?
I’m putting out the call. If you see Britney Spears doing something illegal, call the police. Have her arrested and have her committed. It’s for her own good.
Another A-hole speaks. Where do these people get the nerve to sprout their ideas about what other people need when they obviously don’t have a clue? These are people’s lives these quacks are trying to put in jeopardy. What kind of doctor tells a patient, “Look, listen to me, I know what will make you better, just let me have you arrested and thrown in jail? Doesn’t that sound like it will make you better” Think about it - this guy IS CRAZY!!!! Would you go to that doctor????
Please, don’t give these people screen time. They’re pumping their own agendas; certainly they’re in no way actually trying to make Ms. Spears “well.” Many people on the planet are clueless about mental illness, if that’s what she’s suffering from, and, thus, they should keep their mouths shut about it while publicizing their own cause. Please, don’t let them use Britney Spears to get themselves publicity. They’re much worse than paparazzi, because they masquerade under the cloak of “medicine” or psychiatry.
