Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up.
Sir Elton claims the Internet ruined music because everyone is hanging out online instead of getting together and doing creative stuff. He feels if we shut it down for five years, we’d have a sudden burst of creativity and people would leave their houses.
“In the early Seventies there were at least ten albums released every week that were fantastic.” He said. “Now you’re lucky to find ten albums a year of that quality. And there are more albums released each week now than there were then.”
This is me rolling my eyes.
Elton, in the Seventies songs like “Billy Don’t be a Hero”, “Feelings” and “Muskrat Love” topped the charts, surely you don’t want to go there again.
