Former Lynryd Skynyrd drummer, Artimus Pyle, was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender. Now here’s where he comes off as really being shady. Apparantly Pyle’s real name is Thomas Delmar Pyle, though why he would want to change it to Artimus is beyond me. Also, Artimus gave three different addresses to the police. He was arrested at one of them. This isn’t his first arrest for failing to register either, he was arrested for this last week too. Something to hide, Art?
Pyle was sentenced to 8 years probation after being arrested for capital sexual battery on a victim younger than 12 and also lewd and lascivious behavior. Such a nice guy.
