Gillian Anderson is the New Host of Masterpiece Theater

 

Here’s one I didn’t see coming. Gillian Anderson is going to be the new host of Masterpiece Theater. This is shocking to me because growing up my parents watched Masterpiece Theater, and the very distinguished Allister Cooke was the host. I just can’t see Agent Scully doing it justice.

Actually, Gillian Anderson is just one of the slated hosts. The revival of Masterpiece Theater will actually be made up of three “mini-seasons” with a different host each season.

Interesting.
