Heath Ledger Was Taking Anti-Depressants and Ambien

Page Six is reporting this morning that Heath Ledger was taking medication for sleep and depression. Three bottles of medication were found in his room containing the sleeping drug Ambien and an anti-depressant.

"I was hearing that he was depressed," says actor Jonathan Zarin, who met Heath through mutual friends. "I’m sure he must have been in a really bad place. I’d been hearing that for a while."

While the drugs were found in Heath’s room, there’s no confirmation he died of a drug overdose.
