Need a place to live? Got $25,000 a month? If it doesn’t bother you that a famous celebrity passed away on the premises, have I got the place for you! Heath Ledger’s apartment is already on the market- two weeks after his untimely death!
“You don’t wait around in a hot rental market like this,” said one broker to the New York Post. “As ghoulish as it sounds, people will rent that place in a heartbeat, especially when the vacancy rate is below 1 percent.”
I don’t know if I could do it. I know New York City has too many people and not enough overpriced real estate, but I couldn’t live somewhere someone was recently found dead. Especially with all that publicity. Though I suppose if anyone’s ghost would come to haunt me, Heath Ledger’s isn’t such a bad option. I think he’d be rather friendly.
