Hef Tries to Make it Up to Kendra
Last week, one of Hugh Hefner’s main squeezes, Kendra Wilkinson, was a little miffed that Hef called an Elle Magazine profile “perceptive” when it made Kendra out to look a bit bimboish. Now he’s trying to make amends. He sent a letter to writer Daphne Merkin stating:
” As I said in my letter, I think your article in Elle on ‘The Girls Next Door’ is the best, most perceptive to date. I also think you identified more with Holly than Bridget and Kendra, and that hurt the other girls’ feelings. In response to your concern about ‘who has big plans for Kendra,’ the answer is Kendra, herself. She has already purchased a condo in San Diego as an investment with money earned from the show. And she has just signed a lucrative contract for her own clothing line.”
Wow. And she did it all by herself!
