Is a Paris Release Party in the Works?

According to the popular gossip page, Rick and Kathy Hilton are shopping around for a venue to host a get out of jail bash for their Paris. Hilton tried and was rebuked by the Palms, Pure and the Hard Rock in Vegas, after asking for a reported $50,000. While it’s not official, many believe that it will happen.
Might I rant?
Mr. and Mrs. Hilton, your daughter just went to jail on DUI related charges. A lot of mention has been made of the special privileges afforded her and the irresponsible attitude she displays. Don’t you think it’s not quite in her best interests to host a party celebrating a release from prison, when partying is what got her into this mess in the first place?
Moreover, did you miss “The View” yesterday when Babara Walters spoke of Paris’ new and improved spiritual side? In case you were out shopping, she’s done with her partying ways and is spending her time reading the Bible. Your plan doesn’t go well with her new image.
Finally, what kind of message do you think you’re sending to your daughter, and indeed daughters all over this fine country, when you celebrate her committing a felony with a big party? You want to send the right message? Donate a butt-load of money to MADD or other alcohol or drug awareness causes. Throwing a party does nothing to help your daughter’s cause.
