It was announced this morning that Whoopi Goldberg will indeed host The View.

Awesome choice. Whoppi is funny, bright and can have an intelligent discussion without having to resort to bullying. Plus, she can be trusted not to eat a whole bunch of sour grapes and start spouting off on blogs and cruises.
