Jennifer Jason Leigh wants the press to stop mentioning her age, 45, because she thinks it’s keeping her from landing roles. Which is kind of crap because I’m not seeing a whole lot of press being generated about Jennifer Jason Leigh these days, let alone about her age, but it’s getting her attention so let’s go with it.
“I don’t think your career is over when you turn 40, but it doesn’t help when people’s ages are constantly written about. I think the more you demystify someone, the harder it is to believe they are someone else.”
See and I think if you’re a good actress, you can make your audience believe anything no matter how old you are. But hey, that’s just me. And she still looks really good so who cares.
