The wildly popular “Pirates of the Caribbean” series will be revealing the third installment, “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” later this month. However, if all goes well, Johnny Depp might be open to doing a fourth “Pirates” movie.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Depp said that he’s open to the idea of making a fourth movie in the series.
“As long as you’re doing it for the right reasons, why not?” Depp said.
Fans of the series know 43-year-old Depp as the swarthy buccaneer Jack Sparrow. His portrayal of the character arguably gives the series much of its popularity.
The third installment of “Pirates” opens May 25th among much anticipation and excitement. However, the main characters of the film (Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley) are remaining close-lipped about the plot angle of the film.
If you want to check out what happens, catch the opening of the film in theaters towards the end of this month. Who knows? You may just have a fourth “Pirates” movie to look forward too.
