There doesn’t appear to be any love lost between Andy Dick and Jon Lovitz. According to reports, Lovitz blames Dick for his good friend Phil Hartman’s death because it’s Dick who got Hartman’s wife hooked on coke. Lovitz also claims Dick was a dick while the two worked together on “News Radio.”
The other night at the Laugh Factory, Lovitz had enough and offered a smackdown.
Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada, who witnessed the assault, said, “Jon picked Andy up by the head and smashed him into the bar four or five times, and blood started pouring out of his nose.” Lovitz told Page Six, “All the comedians are glad I did it because this guy is a [bleep]hole.”
We’re all glad.
