After Katie Holmes did her GMA interview yesterday, Diane Sawyer received a lot of flack for being too "soft."
Folks are wondering why she didn’t ask enough questions about that Tom Cruise book or being a Scientologist. I think the Scientologists probably gave GMA a list of questions they were allowed to ask and that’s it. You know they’re micromanging her life. It’s kind of yawn-worthy. She talks about her wedding, her new movie, Suri…whatever. Who cares about Suri at FAO Schwartz? I want to know if Tom Cruise is really gay or if she had to sign her life away to Scientology.

I saw this interview and the one with David Letterman. She seems so calm and serene and drags out her answers. She’s doing the press thing for her movie, but she is so lifeless in the interviews that the movie seems uninteresting. I need to find an interview with Latifah or Diane Keaton because it’s got to be more interesting than Katie Holmes who says yeah and shakes her head but gives no life to the interview.
