Kevin Federline wastes the taxpayers money and requests another emergency custody hearing
You know, as a tax paying citizen, I’m finding Kevin Federline’s frequent requests for emergency hearings to be a little annoying. No, Britney Spears isn’t exactly Carol Brady, but the courts have better things to do than clear their already overcrowded schedule to make way for Kevin Federline.
Today K-Fed is requesting Britney not be able to drive the kids anywhere after she was caught on tape running a red light. OK, that’s not cool – and I’m not minimizing the risk to the children – but it seems Britney can’t burp without her ex-husband wanting the video to take her to court. Dude’s holding out for more money, and Brit’s not sharing, so he’s making her pay. At least that’s my theory.
The request for Friday’s session was made by Federline’s counsel, Mark Vincent Kaplan, who previously insisted the singer not be allowed to drive when with her kids.
Concern was raised after videotape surfaced of Spears allegedly running a red light in Los Angeles on Nov. 8. Her court-appointed monitor was in the car with her sons in the backseat.
“Ms. Spears was being mobbed by paparazzi at the time,” her attorney Sorrell Trope tells PEOPLE. “She was distracted. This was not blatant irresponsible driving on her part.”
That doesn’t mean Britney’s off the hook though. She’s an idiot. She shouldn’t be allowed to drive or even breed. Really, she’s a poor role model for all kids, not just her own. Still, if I were paying taxes in the state of California, I’d be a little pissed off at having to keep paying for Kevin and Britney’s custody battle.
