Kiefer Sutherland is Released from Jail

Kiefer Sutherland was released from jail early this morning. He served 45 days for DUI-related charges.
"Keifer looked like he was glad to be out," said jail spokesman John Balian. I would think so. Kiefer worked in the prison laundry and is said to be a model prisoner. He never complained and never requested preferential star treatment.
While I’m not going to give my stamp of approval over his driving under the influence, I will say he took his medicine very well. He knew he did something wrong and he scheduled his jail sentence for a time when it would least affect the cast and crew of "24". Kiefer was also sentenced to five years probation and must complete an 18-month alcohol education program.
