After striking a curb with her convertible, starlet Lindsay Lohan was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Authorities found a substance that has temporarily been indentified as cocaine until further investigation and arrested Lohan on DUI charges.
Lohan and two other people were in her vehicle when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard at about 5:30 in the morning on Saturday. Not only did it appear to authorities that Lohan was speeding, but they also found a “useable amount” of what they believe to be cocaine.
Officers declined to say where the suspected drug was found. All authorities would confirm was that it was not found specifically on Lohan.
After a 911 call to police about the crash, officers arrived at the scene and arrested Lohan at the hospital (she was treated for minor injuries) for further investigation.
Her arraignment date has been set for August 24th at this point. Once her court date arrives she may face additional charges, including felonies.
