Madonna Launches Clothing Line

Joining the ranks of many other celebrities who have their own clothing lines, Madonna unveiled hers on Thursday. While many fans of the “Material Girl” were expecting outrageous clothing, Madonna kept towards the mild side.
“M by Madonna” went on sale at the low-priced H&M in New York, where eager fans lined up about a half hour before opening to get the first peek at her fashions.
There were several items that sold out within two hours, but some shoppers were less than enthused about Madonna’s collection.
It seems that, for a woman who has continued to shock audiences throughout her career with wild fashions and daring styles, her clothing line might have been a little more adventurous.
