Monica Seles Retires from Professional Tennis

Though it’s been five years since she last played professionally, former World Champion tennis player, Monica Seles, is announcing her retirement.

“I have for some time considered a return to professional play, but I have now decided not to pursue that,” Monica said in a statement.

Foot injuries have prevented Monica from launching a successful comeback. She’s 34 years old.
