I know many people are wondering what the Olsen Twins have to do with Heath Ledger’s death. TMZ is reporting this morning that when the housekeeper and masseuse found Heath yesterday afternoon, they called 911 and then the housekeeper called Ashley Olsen’s body guard who was around the block at the time and an EMT. There were already paramedics on the scene when he got there. According to the report, Heath was already dead when they found him.
Michelle Williams is said to be devastated at the loss of her ex-fiance and baby’s father. She’s visibly distraught and en-route to New York as I type this.
Heath Ledger was an enormously talented actor and seemed like an all around good guy. He wasn’t showy or flashy and seemed pretty down to earth. I remember when he and Michelle Williams were looking for real estate in NYC they found an apartment in Brooklyn so they could mingle in relative anonymity and not have to put up with the ritz, glitz and paparazzi. There are lots of rumors swirling around right now, but I think we all need to reserve judgement. Heath had been working in three different countries in less than one week and was no doubt exhausted. He was also said to be suffering from pneumonia. The autopsy today will paint a better picture of what happened.
