When Naomi Campbell was arrested last March for throwing a phone at Ana Scolavino, a maid, during an argument, the public wondered what would become of the once elite model.
Well the verdict is in - and it’s not a desk job.
According to The New York Post, Campbell was sentenced to janitorial work as part of her community service sentence for hitting an employee.
While an official announcement won’t be broadcast until later this week, Campbell will be spending five days mopping floors at a Sanitation Department warehouse in Manhattan.
It may be hard to picture Campbell reduced to cleaning work, but according to her rep, “[Naomi] is ready to complete and report her community service.”
Well, it’s better than jail.
