Natalie Portman Keeps People Waiting
Natalie Portman’s new shoe line must not be very high on her priority list. At the launch at Te Casan in SoHo the other day, she kept guests waiting for 45 minutes. She mingled for about 15 minutes, left and showed up again five minutes before the party ended.
When she finally emerged, she gave 15 minutes of interviews before going back into hiding. Guests waited impatiently while sipping on Casa Lapostolle wines, which Portman chose because they are organic and biodynamic to go along with her vegan shoe line. The actress returned, reports a spy, “However, she showed up with only five minutes remaining before the party ended.”
That’s just not cool. You don’t keep people waiting, especially when they’re the ones who’ll be buying her shoes. Who knew Natalie Portman was such a diva?
