Paige Davis, the bubbly, semi-annoying former hostess of the budget design show "Trading Spaces" is returning to the post she left in 2005. After Paige’s firing, ratings tanked and the show hasn’t been the same since. Paige doesn’t seem to have had much luck finding work in the meantime and was happy to take her old gig back.
"It’s going back to the show that it was," says Paige "It won’t be fancy rules and addenda to rules and bonus rooms. The format is back. In a way, that’s the biggest news. Everything that’s old is new again."
To be honest, I was a little surprised when I read this. Not that they’re hiring Paige back, but that the show is still on. I’m sure they’re paying Paige big bucks to come back after they kicked her ass to the curb, so they must be hopeful they’ll recoup their investment. Bet she’s still annoying though.
I am so so happy that Paige is coming back. I think that she made the show. Very energetic. I quit watching the show when she left. Now I will definately always watch it.
