Mere days after her sentencing, the young heiress Paris Hilton now says she is ready to “face the consequences” of her actions.
According to Hilton, she understands how serious it is to drive while intoxicated and believes she is “not above the law.”
With all of the rumors flying around the internet and the public, Hilton released a statement to let the public know her true feelings about what she did.
“I do not expect to be treated better than anyone else,” Hilton says about violating parole. She released a statement on Wednesday to hopefully shed light on her remorse.
The party girl and socialite was sentenced to spend 45 days in county jail for violating parole on an alcohol-related reckless driving charge. She must report to the women’s jail in Lynwood by June 5th. According to the judge, there will be no alternative methods used to serve her crime.
Hilton’s legal team is still in the process of appealing the decision to send Hilton to jail.
