Whatever she can do to stay in the spotlight…
Apparently, socialite Paris Hilton has decided to forego appealing her 45 day jail sentence for violating probation. I wonder if this might have something to do with the fact that her jail term has been cut?
We’ll never know, but according to a spokeswoman for the court, Hilton has abandoned her appeal.
She was ordered to report to jail on June 5th due to a reckless-driving case wherein she was intoxicated, while also violating her probation agreement.
Her shorter sentence (she will probably only serve about half her time) is due to the fact that the courts expect her to behave well behind bars.
Truth be told, I’m eager to see how she’ll hold up in jail.
