Paris Hilton flip-flops more than anyone I know.
Just last week, Hilton spoke to the press and said she was ready to face the consequences of her actions. Apparently, her tune has changed yet again.
Now, Hilton says she is “[too] emotionally distraught and traumatized” over her impending jail time. Because of her mental state, Hilton’s psychiatrist says she is incapable of testifying in a civil lawsuit against her.
Her psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy has been seeing Hilton for the past eight months. The lawsuit was brought against Hilton by Zeta Graff, actress and diamond heiress. According to Sophy, Hilton needs time to recover from the shock of jail time before she can be effective on the stand.
In 2005, Graff filed a $10 million lawsuit against the socialite, claiming that Hilton spread “vicious lies” about the diamond heiress. Hilton denies these claims.
The trial for the civil lawsuit against Hilton, originally scheduled for this month, has been postponed until August.
