This is what she told Barbara Walters on the phone yesterday. Today on “The View” Barbara shared the details of her phone call including:

• Paris is “hanging in there.”
• She doesn’t want to cause anymore problems.
• She now feels she has the power to make a difference. “Acting dumb isn’t cute, she’s 26 and it’s a different time. “
• Paris now wants to work with cancer victims including lending her name to a house for children stricken with the disease. 
• She can’t wear makeup and her skin is dry but it doesn’t matter because she’s not superficial anymore.
• She’s reading the L.A. Times, The Wall Street Journal and the Bible
• Inmates are friendly, she plays ping pong and some of her fan mail makes her cry.
• She will never again drink and drive.
