PETA Wants the Olsen Twins to Stop Wearing Fur
I guess we won’t be seeing the Olsen Twins nude on any PETA posters any time soon. And really, thank goodness for that. PETA is dumbing the demure duo the “Trollson Twins” because of their penchant for wearing fur even after numerous requests to stop.
PETA is furious they’ve “ignored pleas to stop wearing fur and using it in their fashion collection.” The group is unveiling a campaign against the “fur fiends” – Mary-Kate (“Hairy Kate,” above) and Ashley (“Trashley”) – with a tag line: “Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People.” The Trollsen Twins poster will be unveiled today at their Walk of Fame star in LA.
You know, I’m all about the animals and fur isn’t my thing but I think PETA tends to go a little too far. Really, what they do can be considered harassment. Sending letters, following them around and yelling, throwing things….why they’re still allowed to do this is beyond me. Can’t wait to see the poster though.
