33 year old Rapper Pimp C. , whose real name i s Chad Butler, was found dead in his room at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles this morning. L.A. County Fire, responding to a 911 call, found him dead in his room.
As of this evening the L.A. County Coroner’s office is suggesting no foul play and thinks Butler died of natural causes. There was no evidence of drug use, he was fully clothed and didn’t appear to have fallen or gotten into any sort of altercation. He laying on his side on top of his bed and there were no marks on his body. Autopsy results can take up to 8 weeks.

I’ve known Chad since he was 18, and we loved him dearly and he was a cherished member of the Jive family.”
